"new news and not so new news"
Tuesday, July 24, 2012
I had a great night at the opening of my solo show at The Slingluff Gallery this past Thursday night. So many people came out, and I really enjoyed talking to everyone. It was such a pleasure to work with Jonathan and Leigh (the owners of the gallery) {THANK YOU!!!}.
I highly recommend stopping in there. They always have something good to look at on the walls.
This Thursday, Emily Fest opens her show from 6-9. I’m planning on being there for that!
Before my opening, I answered some questions for a mini-interview that you can see on The Slingluff Gallery’s blog, The Pinecone Gentleman:

You can also see more (better) photographs from the opening night here:

And lastly (for the opening news), they have my work posted for sale (shipping included) here:

Phew! That’s a lot of links!
I have 2 new pieces that I kept secret until the opening night, but I can show you now.
“Misfit”
and
“Pogo-head”.
“Pogo-head” has already been sold.
In other news, the windows in Ambler
(occupied by the Dumpster Divers)
have changed a bit. The shop on
Butler Pike has been rented,
so the Dumpster Divers have
moved our work to the vacant
shop next door. Before the
show at Slingluff, I switched
some of the pieces, so some
of my pieces there are different,
and some works have been moved
to the shop on Main Street (across from Deck’s hardware shop).
If you are in the Ambler area, please check us out!
I will have lots of new news
coming up soon, but I’m afraid
this blog post is already too
long.
Cheers!
