“Life Sentence” started out with a bird cage I found at a thrift shop. I didn’t want to put anything having to do with birds in it, and it sort of just evolved into this.

My birthday is getting closer and closer, and I think I’ve been thinking a lot about time. How we think about it, and what it does to us ;)

I got more injuries making this piece than anything else I’ve ever made, but I have also never made something so 3 dimensional before. It was quite an experience, and I’m just about all healed. ha! 

I also had to break a mirror, and I (seriously) looked up what I could do to counteract any bad luck. I did everything I could find.

So far, so good
